Parents, friends, and Kenya students —
Welcome to our Kenya field course blog site. We use this site to keep people back at home (especially parents!) informed about how things are going during the time we are in Kenya. The internet system at the field station simply can’t handle a group of our total size, so the students won’t have individual access to the web, email, IM, or other forms of electronic communication. Instead, we will try to update this site every few days to tell you what we are doing and seeing. Please be aware, however, that we won’t be passing through the main field station center every day, so it is normal, expected, and no cause for alarm if a few days pass without an update to this site. We will be busy doing course stuff throughout our time in Kenya, so this blog site isn't meant to be a comprehensive description of everything we do and see -- after all, we need to save some good stories for the students to tell after they get home! At the same time, we are looking forward to sharing some of our experiences, discoveries, and adventures.
